As the major city in East Africa, Nairobi has always played a key supportive role to Maryknoll's missions throughout Africa. Recent years have seen quite a few priests and brothers working in this urban setting – both in parishes and in specialized ministries. Today there are nine Maryknollers in the Nairobi area.
